Had great first Europe show Tuesday at Anita's in Amsterdam. What a great venue! Alas didn't get any pics of me but here are some downloaded from various sites. The main venue is in a kind of pit with a balcony surrounding it on three sides. The Trouble Notes played first, in the pit, acoustic guitar hand percussion and violin. No lyrics but they didn't need any, kind of gypsy rock, they were fantastic. I played afterwards upstairs in the main room of the bar, which was more like a super cool chill coffee shop vibe than a bar venue. I followed local singer songwriter Eyal. I was pretty happy with my set, had folks singling along and not much seemed to get lost in translation.
